Minister Updates MTA NSW Board and Governing Council

MTA NSW CEO, Stavros Yallouridis, invited the Hon, Natalie Ward, MLC, Minister for Metropolitan Roads, and Minister for Women's Safety and the Prevention of Domestic and Sexual Violence to provide a lunchtime address at the MTA Board and Governing Council meeting held at the Four Seasons Hotel on 7th October 2022.

Governing Council Members representing the Association, along with MTA NSW Senior Management, were present to hear from the Minister outline the NSW Government investment in transport infrastructure over the last 10 years. Reference was made to the Westconnex road system and the road connections to the new Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport.

Minister Ward announced the establishment of a hotline number (131 700) for the reporting of any potholes to have repaired and addressed in the NSW Government 'Future Transport 2056' plans which include the required infrastructure to support the growth in both electric and hydrogen vehicles.

MTA NSW participates in Ministerial events to advocate and ensure the concerns of our Members and businesses across NSW are represented.
