MTA NSW Meets with China Auto Federation

On 29th April, MTA NSW CEO, Stavros Yallouridis together with Senior Management welcomed a visiting Chinese delegation, representing the China Auto Federation, to their MTA NSW offices in Sydney. The 9 member delegation, which comprised of leading Chinese Automotive Associations involved in China’s automotive industry, were led by their Chairman, Mr Chen Yuming.

Among the main topics discussed during the meeting with MTA NSW Senior Management included MTA NSW Member activities, key automotive drivers within the economy, vehicle taxation and legislation issues, plus parallel importing and the Chinese automotive landscape. Members of the delegation gained an in-depth understanding of the roles and services provided to our Members as well as the latest automotive trends in Australia.

This meeting was an important opportunity for MTA NSW to meet with the China Auto Federation and exchange information and knowledge while establishing a friendly point of contact for future potential business collaboration opportunities.
