  • comply with face mask requirements.

If a border resident leaves the NSW-QLD border zone to enter a COVID-19 hotspot outside of Queensland, the border resident will not be able to re-enter Queensland via road (but only by air) and will have to quarantine for 14 days in government arranged accommodation at the border resident’s own expense.

Queensland residents who have been in a Restricted Broder Zone LGA for an essential purpose (in the last 14 days or since 8.00pm AEST 14 August 2021, whichever is shorter), must comply with stay at home requirements, when they return to Queensland until 14 days have passed since they were in that LGA.
