MTAA Submission - Closing Loopholes Bill

The Motor Trades Association of Australia (MTAA) expresses strong opposition to the Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Closing Loopholes) Bill 2023 in its current form. We find it to be unfair, complex, and impractical, particularly for small businesses in the automotive industry.

As part of the MTAA, we urge the Senate Education and Employment Legislation Committee to reconsider the Bill and its potential harm to small businesses in the automotive industry and beyond. We advocate for a more balanced and practical approach to workplace relations reform.
