Aussie Racing Cars Championship 2019 Round 4 Ipswich SuperSprint Queensland July 26-28

The Queensland Super Sprint became the landmark where nearly two decades after the race’s inception, the MTA NSW #41 vehicle joined a car field of 21 Aussie Racing Cars assembled for the fourth round of the Aussie Racing Cars, 2019 Championship Series. Despite having to replace an entire engine between Race 1 and Race 2 at Darwin in the last round, the MTA NSW Sponsored driver, Kody Garland saw this round as more challenging, testing both the driver’s skill and the Nissan Altima’s responsiveness.

MTA NSW Rally Championship 2019 Round 4 Rally of the Bay, Batemans Bay NSW 29 June

There were a few thrills and spills at the Rally of the Bay last weekend! The rally was running about an hour behind schedule due to a few incidents which blocked the stage. Sadly, the MTA NSW Rally Championship series leaders, Glen Raymond and Kate Catford, were out after an accident at the SS1, with the crew reported to have escaped unscathed. Tristan Kent running second in the MTA NSW Rally Championship was also out after an accident in Stage 3, with the crew also reported OK.
